eCom Profit Sniper is a scam or isn’t it? There has been a lot of talk about this make money online (MMO) scheme, and many were asking if eCom Profit Sniper is a scam or not, so I decided to take a look at it for myself. The real question is, can it make the kind of money they claim it can make?

Intro
In my opinion the internet is one of the best things to happen to modern society; especially if you are looking for ways to make money from home. Never before has it been possible like it is today.
The internet never sleeps, and from a money making perspective, we all have access to a global market 24/7/365.
eCom Profit Sniper first came to my attention through an email I received. I then started seeing a lot of chatter about it online. All this got me curious enough to want to check it out for myself, so I did and wrote a review on what I uncovered.
On my Laptop Freedom Living website I devote a lot of space to writing product reviews on make money online schemes, as well as platforms that claim to teach people how to make money on the internet from home. I do this so we all know what’s good, what’s just okay, and what to keep well away from (scams).
While the internet has opened the doors to so many great possibilities, it’s unfortunately also become infested with scammers and con artists. These people target those looking to make money, and offer up BS schemes designed to do nothing else but take your money. Therefore we all have to be careful and aware.
And that’s where reviews like this one can help.

What Is eCom Profit Sniper?
Tom Parker is the name of the online entrepreneur who delivers eCom Profit Sniper to other budding online entrepreneurs and solopreneurs.
He starts off by making some massive claims, such as the average person on his site is pulling in $1000s a week, every week.
There is even one claim that states you can potentially make $44,000 a month with his scheme!
If that’s even remotely true, to put that into perspective, that would amount to $528,000 per year!
I mean, that’s not unbelievable money, but it’s still a big claim. I’m sure there are people out there in cyber world who are making that kind of cash and then some, but is it true that people joining eCom Profit Sniper can do so?
Another statement Tom makes in his sales pitch is that it only takes around 20 minutes of work a day to pull in this monthly figure of more than $44k.
He also goes on to say that you can start making money on your very first day.
To me, these statements so far are massive red flags that I’ve seen numerous times before. Like I said, it may be possible, but in my experience any platform that claims you can make that kind of cash with very little time and effort is generally not being totally honest.
It’s all about telling people what they want to hear to hook them in.
I’ve been in the internet marketing game for quite a while now, and I know from experience (unless you get extremely lucky with something and all the stars align), it takes months or more likely years to establish something that can reap those kinds of rewards.
And it also takes a lot of time, blood, sweat and tears before you attain a level of monetary success like that.
eCom Profit Sniper is more about training, specifically training that shows you how to make money with a Shopify store by doing drop shipping.
Shopify is a hosting platform where you pay a membership and you can easily build eCommerce stores to either sell your own products, or promote other companies’ products as a drop shipper.
Now while Shopify is making tons of money, as Tom states in his sales video, that doesn’t mean every vendor on the platform is making a killing.
It’s a highly competitive industry these days.
Shopify might be making roughly $150 million a quarter, but there are multiple millions of vendors on the site, and they’re not making that kind of cash. Not by a long shot.
Tom also makes out that Shopify is a “money making secret”, but there’s nothing secret about this platform whatsoever.
You can make money with eCommerce for sure, but my issue here is that Tom’s really hyping things up to the point where it’s not even believable.

How eCom Profit Sniper Really Works
Another secret Tom keeps alluding to throughout is sales pitch is the process of drop shipping.
Drop shipping is no more of a secret than what Shopify is.
Many millions of people are already heavily involved in drop shipping all over the world, so it’s not some new or basically unknown business concept.
What eCom Profit Sniper is offering here is a training program that runs you through the steps of establishing your very own drop shipping business on the Shopify platform with an eCommerce store.
Drop shipping differs from selling your own products, because you never actually buy any inventory and then try to sell it at a profit. Instead, you team up with a wholesaler or manufacturer who willingly deals with drop shippers.
You advertise that company’s products on your site as if you’re selling them, then when an order comes through, the buyer pays you the retail price plus shipping costs, and you pay the wholesaler the wholesale price plus shipping costs and keep the profit.
It’s the wholesaler or manufacturer who then packages up the product and ships it directly to the customer.
The Shopify platform is loaded with drop shipping eCommerce stores, because it’s a budget friendly and very popular business model.
Like I said, neither drop shipping nor Shopify are a secret in any way, shape or form, despite what Tom claims in his video.
When Tom says you can make $44k a month with what he teaches, maybe that’s possible, but it’s not going to happen with just 20 minutes of effort per day.
There is a lot to drop shipping, even if you don’t have to buy inventory. You don’t just put up your eCommerce store on the Shopify platform, then get to kick back and watch the money come flooding in.
You’ll need to promote and market, and pay for advertising to get potential buyers to your online store.

What You Get With eCom Profit Sniper
I’ll briefly run through what you get if you were to join eCom Profit Sniper. The training made up of 4 modules and I’ll very quickly break them down for you so you know what’s on offer.
Module 1 – Introduction
This starting module goes over the basics of the Shopify platform and how drop shipping works. There is a total of 6 lessons and they are:
- Shopify Setup
- Image Hunting
- Setting Note Slides
- See Shopify Setting In Action
- Theme Note Slides
- See Theme Settings In Action
Module 2 – Categories & Products
Now it’s time to start thinking about what kind of category (or niche) you want to focus your eCommerce store in. Once you’ve figured that out, it’s time to start sourcing some products that can be drop shipped.
This course module only has 2 lessons:
- Category Selection Slide
- Product Finding/Sourcing
The training on this vital part of the process is pretty thin, unfortunately. Product and niche selection means everything to the eventual success or failure of your drop shipping enterprise.
Module 3 – Adding Collections & Products
Now that you’ve established a niche and know what products you want and from where, it’s time to learn how to add all these product listings to your shiny new eCommerce store hosted on Shopify.
Tom’s training focuses on 2 easy options, making use of Oberlo (for importing) and AliExpress (for products).

Module 4 – Facebook
Tom’s training focuses on using Facebook to drive traffic to your drop shipping business so you can get customers and sales and start earning.

- Facebook Page
- Facebook Post
- Facebook Pixel
The Facebook traffic will be free from simply posting on the Facebook page you create for your business.
Paid traffic through FB is really the way to go to get instant results, but that costs money, and takes time to learn what’s working and what’s not.
Something To Keep In Mind About Drop Shipping
What Tom’s teaching people here is to team up with the Chinese online superstore – AliExpress. It’s where a lot of drop shippers source their products, because prices are cheap and there is so much to choose from.
The biggest issue with using Chinese suppliers for drop shippers these days is monumentally long waiting times for products to be shipped to the customer.
It can take months before the customer receives their item, and often the quality is not what they expected.
Now, in order for you, the drop shipper, to get paid by the customer, you need to go through a payment processor on Shopify. Both Stripe and PayPal are popular choices, but because of their buyer protection policies, these payment gateways place lengthy holds on your money, sometimes as long as 180 days before it’s released to you so you can withdraw it to your bank account.
They started doing this because customers were asking for refunds and chargebacks because their products hadn’t arrived. This is all due to the lengthy shipping times.
I just mentioning this because it’s something you need to be aware of if you’re thinking of doing drop shipping and sourcing products from China.
Target Market
I think eCom is targeting people looking for what seems like a simple and cost effective way to start an eCommerce store and make some money from home. Tom makes it all out to be highly profitable, quick and simple, but in reality the opposite is true.
Many people seek opportunities online these days, but we have to learn to be realistic. Yes, you can make money as a drop shipper, but there’s a lot of work involved, and likely some expense for paid advertising to really get the ball rolling.
What I Like
- Drop shipping is a cost effective and simpler eCommerce model than having your own inventory
- Some people do extremely well with the drop shipping model
- Tom’s course covers the bare basics of getting started
- 60 day money back guarantee (through ClickBank)
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- The potential earnings have been seriously over-hyped
- No one will be making money with this on their first day
- Running a highly successful drop shipping business will take loads more time than 20 minutes a day
- The training is far too basic and not detailed enough
- Money will need to be spent on paid advertising
- Not much information out there on this Tom Parker guy or whether he has a successful track record as a Shopify drop shipper
- You will need to pay Shopify hosting fees every month as well
- Most of what Tom teaches in his training you can either find online for free, or learn through the free training videos on the Shopify website
- Both Shopify and drop shipping are far from being "secrets"
How Much Does eCom Profit Sniper Cost?
At the time of this writing it costs $37 to buy into eCom Profit Sniper through the ClickBank platform.
After that, you’ll need to pay monthly Shopify fees, which at a minimum are $29 per month.
Then there’s the subject of paid advertising to get your business profitable. That could amount to $1000s a month.
Is eCom Profit Sniper a Scam Or Legit?
I don’t see this as a scam. It offers some rudimentary training in a field that can be profitable. Also, the price of the training is reasonable.
I’d probably rate this a little higher if the training was more in-depth and really dug deep into how to make this work. Even if the price for the training had to be higher.
As it is, it doesn’t cover enough ground and the sales pitch is way over-hyped.
Look, eCom Profit Sniper, at the price, might be worth a look for a complete beginner, but if you have any experience I wouldn’t bother with it.

While I don’t whole heartedly recommend eCom Profit Sniper, there are plenty of great ways to make money on the internet from home.
