The main reason I created this website is to help people find the decent ways to make money online while avoiding those scammers in the process. The main way I achieve this goal is by writing reviews of training programs and make money products.
These reviews help us all make better choices.
I write reviews of quite a few survey platforms, so when I came across Make Survey Money, I decided I’d research the place and write a review on what I found out about it.

What Is Make Survey Money About?
There are loads of paid survey platforms on the internet, and Make Survey Money is yet another one to add to the never ending list.
Paid survey sites exist to help companies with their market research. These companies need to gather data for products and services, and one way they do this is by having survey questions answered.
In order to be able to find enough respondents easily, these companies team up with survey platforms that have members keen to earn small rewards by completing the surveys.
Doing paid surveys is an okay way to make some spare coins during your down time, and it can be done anytime of the day or night from home. The biggest downside is it’s a very poor exchange of your time for money.

Joining the Make Survey Money Site
Like the majority of paid survey platforms out there, you don’t pay a joining fee to sign on with Make Survey Money. It’s totally free to get started.
You begin by filling out your basic information, such as your name and email address, but after this basic phase, things start to get more complicated.
Normally when you first hook up with a survey platform you’ll be asked a bunch of profile questions. This gives the platform a better idea of what types of surveys to match you up with, which makes sense.
The problem with Make Survey Money is they start offering you a bunch of promotions, trying to get you to sign up for other stuff. You don’t have to, but it gets kind of annoying, because it happens over and over again.
You actually have to continually go through these lists and either opt in or opt out of the various offers.
It’s extremely time consuming and it ends up taking ages before you even get to the survey part of the site, which is what Make Survey Money is supposed to be about.
These offers are obviously deals that the owners of the site make commissions on if people accept any offers.
You have to wade through something like 30 offers or more before you finally have a chance to confirm your email and get started on actual surveys.
Ways To Earn With Make Survey Money
There are actually a few ways to earn on Make Survey Money, along with doing paid surveys, so I’ll break them down here.
Doing Surveys
First fill out your profile survey, then navigate through to the “Surveys” tab, where you’ll find a selection of available surveys to do. Each survey states what it’s worth to complete and approximately how long it’ll take.
Now the list looks good at first glance, but when you try to click a survey you want to do, you’ll be told you don’t qualify. Click another and you’ll be told the same thing again.
You’ll also find another tab called “Daily Surveys”. Instead of having actual surveys to do here either, the site wants to refer you to other paid survey platforms so the owner gets a commission.
So, as far as the surveys go, there don’t seem to be any to do on the actual Make Survey Money site. It’s just an affiliate site that wants you to join offers or other survey platforms.
Receiving and Reading Emails
This entails agreeing to receive promotional emails. You’ll get 2 emails per day and earn a massive 2 cents per email you read. Total that up and it’s 4 cents a day. Yippee!
Incentive Offers
This section is again about trying to get people to join offers with a free trial. These offers require you to hand over your credit card info. Once the trial ends, unless you remember to cancel the offer, your card will start getting charged.
There are also promotional videos you can watch, but once more you are only earning a few cents to watch a boring video.
Referral Program
Many of these platforms have referral programs, where you can earn a percentage of the revenue that your direct recruits make. In the case of Make Survey Money, that amount is 15%. Not bad if you can get thousands of people to join through you, but that would be a really tough ask.
Besides, there are hardly any real or worthwhile ways to even earn money through this platform, so probably all a waste of time trying to recruit others anyway.

Making Money and Getting Paid
Seriously, you’ll be really hard pressed to make any actual money on this site. All the surveys seem to be redirects to other platforms, and reading emails and watching videos only earns you pennies for your time.
In order to get paid, you have to reach the cash out level, which I couldn’t seem to find. Likely it’ll be either set at $10 or $20, so at the pay rates, it could take you literally months and months to get there.
If you do finally get there, you can get paid either in gift cards or cash through PayPal.
Target Market
Paid surveys are targeted at anyone who is looking for ways to make a little extra on the side from home in their spare time. Sometimes surveys sound more lucrative than what they are in reality, and it can get really monotonous doing survey after survey too.
They’re not hard to do at all and are really a no brainer, but it still gets very tedious and boring.
Even “well paying” survey sites will likely only make you an average of about $3 per hour for your time, if you could do them continuously.
Over the years I’ve been a member of a number of survey platforms, but they’re all pretty much the same, and really not worth the bother.
What I Like
- You could make some seriously small amounts of money with this site, if you’re lucky
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- There aren’t any real surveys on Make Survey Money. It’s just a portal that feeds people through to joining other real paid survey platforms so the owner of the site earns referral commissions
- The amount you earn for watching videos or reading emails is an absolute joke and so not worth bothering with
- There is no cash out figure stated on the website
- The referral program has a reasonable commission, but referral earnings would be so low that again it’s not worth your time trying to recruit anyone
- Basically this entire site only really exists as a way to feed people into other schemes so the affiliate behind the site makes money
- All those opt in/opt out offers when you first join up are seriously annoying
Does It Cost Money To Join Make Survey Money?
As I mentioned earlier, you don’t need to pay a joining fee to become a member of Make Survey Money, but if you take up any of the trial offers, then those could start to cost you some bucks rather than be making you money; which is the idea of joining the site in the first place.
So while the platform is technically free, it could still end up costing you money instead of making you any.
Is Make Survey Money a Scam or Legit?
I couldn’t really call this place an outright scam, but it does misrepresent itself for sure.
I mean, you join up wanting to do surveys, and before you can even get close to those surveys you are forced to look at multiple pages of BS offers that you don’t want.
When you finally get to the surveys you’re told you don’t qualify for any of them, and they just seem to be fake surveys anyway.
From there you try the Daily Surveys and get sent off to other survey platforms to join.
If you don’t want to do that, then you’re just left with earning pennies watching videos or reading promotional emails.
The Make Survey Money site is nothing more than a feeder site run by an affiliate and a complete waste of valuable time in my honest opinion.
