Intro…

Reading reviews is a really good way of sorting the bad stuff from the good. It’s why I write so many reviews of make money online (MMO) schemes and platforms that claim to teach people how to make money. My website is all about helping people find the right stuff to focus on, while avoiding anything dodgy in the process.

In so many ways the internet has really transformed the modern world, and one of the main things I love about it is all the money making opportunities it’s opened up. Never before have we been able to access a global market in real time from the comfort of our own homes.

The internet never sleeps either. We can make money online 24/7/365. That’s pretty awesome.

The flipside of that is the fact that so many con artists also know just how many people are using the internet to search for ways to make money. They invent bogus money making platforms that are merely designed to make them money and not us, so we always have to be careful.

As I’ve always had an interest in anything that can make money online, surveys sometimes catch my attention, and when I received an email about Survey Sheep I felt I had to do some research on the platform and write a review on what I discovered.

Let’s now see if Survey Sheep is worth your time, or just a complete waste of time.

What Is Survey Sheep About?

There are so many paid survey sites on the internet these days. I’ve been a member of a few in the past, but Survey Sheep is a new one on me.

Weird name for a survey site, just quietly.

I know surveys are an easy and popular way for people to make a little extra cash or gift card in their spare time, but they can also be pretty much a waste of valuable time.

So what’s Survey Sheep? Is it another platform that connects businesses requiring market research with people willing to provide that data through filling up surveys?

Not exactly, and I’ll explain why.

All Survey Sheep does is send members over to other survey sites and rewards sites to join. The platform doesn’t actually have any of its own surveys to offer.

Some examples of other sites the platform refers you to includes:

  • Swagbucks
  • Inbox Dollars
  • Survey Junkie
  • Panda Research
  • Vindale Research
  • And others…

So why does the owner of the Survey Sheep website bother to do this?

Because all these other platforms have referral programs, where the person running Survey Sheep earns a commission for every new person who signs up. In most cases the affiliate will also earn small commissions on all activity their recruits do on these other sites.

Surveys make you hardly any money at any rate. You are far better off doing what I do online to make some real dollars. Click here for more information.

How Does Survey Sheep Really Work?

So what happens if you were to join Survey Sheep, despite it not having any of its own surveys?

Basically you create an account with Survey Sheep, and then you have to individually sign up for any of the other sites that interest you.

When you go through that process you’ll need to answer a series of profile questions so the platform of your choosing can gather enough data on you to more accurately match you up with appropriate surveys.

As I said earlier, the whole reason for the Survey Sheep site is to entice people to join these other sites so the owner earns commissions.

There’s nothing really wrong with that at all, and the owner of Survey Sheep hasn’t really tried to hide what they’re doing, but you do arrive at Survey Sheep thinking the platform has its own surveys to offer.

It’s a bit disappointing to find the website is just a portal.

The site does offer up some misleading wording and information though, making it sound like they do offer some surveys of their own, when they don’t.

Any commissions this person makes from you on the other platforms will not affect your earnings. Commissions are not subtracted from the amount you personally earn, so there’s no problem with that at all.

Also keep in mind that not all of the sites Survey Sheep recommends are necessarily the best for you. They are the sites hat have the best referral programs and offer the Survey Sheep owner the best commissions.

How Much Money Can You Make?

On the actual Survey Sheep site you won’t make a cent, because there is no direct way to earn there.

However, if you were to join some of the other sites, then you’d likely earn yourself an average of about $3 per hour filling out surveys. Less if the sites you join are GPT (get paid to) types of sites like Swagbucks and so on.

All of these sites pay very poorly for your precious time, and are a serious waste of time if you really think about it.

Some sites don’t even pay in cash, but gift cards only, so you don’t actually earn money at all. Some do pay cash, usually through PayPal, but many don’t.

Copy the way I make $1000s a month in passive income!

How Do You Get Paid?

You don’t get paid by Survey Sheep. Any other site you happen to join will have their own criteria.

Generally there is a payment threshold to be reached, usually somewhere between $10 and $20.

Often you’ll be paid out in gift cards, like I said above. Or if it’s cash, generally through PayPal or Payoneer.

What I Don’t Like About Paid Surveys

Over the years, before I got into what I do now, I did surveys on a number of paid survey platforms. They are okay, but there are some things I don’t really care for much when it comes to doing surveys.

The biggest complaint I have – and one that is shared by just about everybody – is the really small amount they pay you for your time and effort in filling out surveys. On average, if you could do surveys one after the other, you’d be doing well if you were making $3 or so per hour.

Just about every single survey will ask you a series of qualifying questions first before you get onto the actual paid part of the survey. They do this to see if you fit the criteria. If you don’t and you get screened out, you’ve just wasted a whole bunch of your time.

Some companies seem to really take advantage of this screening process to, asking you more than 20 questions, only to discover you don’t qualify. This way they get a bunch of data for free.

This doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen semi regularly. You’re about halfway through a  survey and it hangs. You can’t get it back. This means you don’t get to finish the survey and earn nothing.

If you do some research on just about any paid survey platform, one of the common gripes is that surveys are too few and far between, meaning it’ll take ages to earn enough to request a cash out, as all these sites will have a predetermined threshold you have to reach first before you see any money.

And even when you do eventually reach that payout figure, you then have to wait some more to get paid.

Overall though, the biggest issue is the very poor compensation for the time you spend doing these surveys.

Target Market

Paid surveys and GPT sites target anyone who is hoping to make a little extra cash online. Often it’s people who have never made a dime online before.

They can be a good and easy way to get your first taste for making some online income, but are a serious time waster if you plan to generate some decent and useful cashflow.

What I Do Like

  • Surveys and rewards sites can be an okay way to make your first dollars online
  • Most of the sites they send you too are half decent sites and not scams
  • It can save you time searching for survey platforms yourself

What I Don’t Like and Red Flags

  • The website is rather misleading
  • It’s just an affiliate site that refers people to other survey and GPT sites so the owner gets commissions
  • There’s not much money to be made in surveys anyway
  • Because the sites they are sending people to offer the best commissions, they are not necessarily the best survey sites out there. Some really good survey sites don’t even have referral programs
  • You can find all these survey sites yourself with a simple Google search
  • They lie blatantly on their website when they make the claim you can earn between $25-$75 per survey. No surveys pay anywhere near that kind of money

How Much Does It Cost To Join Survey Sheep?

It doesn’t cost any money to join Survey Sheep, and seriously it wouldn’t want to either. The platform doesn’t even offer anything to members.

The other survey sites and rewards sites Survey Sheep refers you to are also free to sign up with. You don’t usually pay to join sites like these, and if you ever come across a survey site that asks for a joining fee – RUN!

It’ll be some sort of scam.

Is Survey Sheep a Scam or Legit?

I wouldn’t call Survey Sheep a scam. Very misleading in some ways, but not really a scam. It’s not ripping people off in any way, just misrepresents itself on the surface.

One blatant lie is where they say surveys can earn you anywhere from $25 right up to $75 per survey.

That’s unheard of in the paid survey world in my experience.

Seriously, surveys can really waste a lot of your time for very little reward. Maybe get started earning a few coins with surveys, but don’t stay doing them for too long.

I Make a Great Living Online and So Can You!

Lifestyle FreedomSurveys are okay to get started making some coins online, but Survey Sheep is pretty useless in many ways. Besides, there are far batter alternatives to making money online than wasting your time on surveys.

I much prefer my very simple affiliate marketing business these days and wouldn’t waste my time doing surveys anymore. Some people call it a business, but it’s much simpler than that.

It doesn’t matter who you are, if you follow a proven training blueprint, you’ll have success, and training will fast track that success.

There are many reasons I love what I do, and much of that can be attributed to the fact that it’s all done online from home.

Just look at a few of the advantages:

  • You can work when you want and anywhere you want
  • Your online gig will give you more financial security
  • You can spend more time with family, friends and loved ones
  • Do more of what you enjoy doing
  • Experience the absolute freedom of having money AND time
  • There are no limits of how much you can make
  • You’ll produce multiple income sources
  • Make passive income, the very best kind
  • Get to work from home with no boss
  • The list goes on…

I know a lot of people who just do this sort of thing as a side gig. Then there are other like me who easily make a fulltime income from it without needing to work fulltime hours. And if you really go hard, you can possibly get wealthy by doing this.

It’s all possible.

So many people claim they want to live better lives, but don’t do something that can make it happen. Affiliate marketing can make it happen.

Make Real Money Online.

I mentioned a few of them above, but there are many reasons why it’s advantageous to do something from home online, and my guide covers some of these key benefits.

I also understand that not everyone reading this review knows just how affiliate marketing works, how simple it is, or how you go about turning dollars with it, so I explain this as well.

So much of my success online can be directly attributed to the really cool training I followed. I know that if you follow the same training, you’ll find success as well. I go over the training in my guide so you know what’s on offer. You don’t even need to use your credit card to join, because it’s FREE to get started!
