Intro

The internet never sleeps. That’s one of the things I really love about it. You can access people globally, so somewhere there is always someone awake. The other major thing I love about the net is all the opportunities to make money from home.

Never has the world been like this before.

Of course, everything comes with some downsides, and one of the problem areas of the online world is the number of scammers and con artists that lurk in the cyber shadows. These people especially prey on anyone looking to make money online.

There was a lot of talk lately on social media about paid survey platform, SurveySay, so I made the decision to look deeper into it and write this review based on what I found out.

I make it a point on my website to write a lot of product reviews, particularly of any make money online (MMO) programs, as well as training platforms that teach people ways to make money. I do this so we can all have a far better idea of what’s worth getting involved with and what is best avoided.

Now while there are numerous ways to make money of all amounts online, like I said, there are also a lot of scammers out there, se we need to remain diligent. Reviews help us make better choices.

Because you are here and reading this review, it shows that you are willing to do some research before joining anything. That’s the best way to avoid wasting your time and/or money.

Let’s now see if SurveySay is really worth your time or not.

What Is SurveySay?

I’ve done a lot of paid surveys in the past and been a member of a number of different survey platforms. Until researching this one, SurveySay wasn’t one of them.

While surveys are a pretty brain dead easy way of making a little bit of coin or earning some gift cards, they really do pay pretty poorly in my experience.

But anyway, let’s take a closer look at SurveySay and see if this one offers anything better.

This survey platform has been around since 2008 apparently, so it’s not a new kid on the block by any means. The reason places like SurveySay and other survey platforms exist is to match up companies needing market research with people willing to spend time filling out surveys to provide this data.

SurveySay acts as the middleman in the equation.

That’s how proper survey platforms operate anyway, but then there are others that portray themselves as regular, legit survey portals, only to discover that they are really something else with a different agenda.

For some weird reason SurveySay advertise their platform like they’re hiring people for jobs or employment. That certainly is not the case. In fact, SurveySay doesn’t even pay anyone to do any surveys, because this website doesn’t even have any of its own surveys to offer anyone.

Paid surveys even on legit sites are pretty much a waste of time if your goal is to make some real money. Try affiliate marketing instead. It’s what I do from the comfort of home and I make more than a fulltime living with it.

SurveySay Is a Scam

How SurveySay Really Works

SurveySay is nothing but a referral website. When you join this you aren’t presented with surveys to fill out for various companies conducting research. Instead, the site owner simply wants to refer you to genuine paid survey platforms so they can earn a referral commission.

Technically there’s nothing wrong with this as such, but the person behind this site makes out like they have their very own real survey platform.

This practice is not uncommon by any means. I recently wrote a review on a site called “Signature Surveys”, which is basically doing the same type of thing.

Yet another one I’ve reviewed is “My Survey Jobs”.

Basically the owner of the SurveySay website is the person making the most money here, and all from referral fees.

The majority of real paid survey platforms, as well as rewards sites, will have referral programs, where members can earn a little bit of extra cash every time they refer a new member to the site.

Like I said, there’s nothing really wrong with this if it’s all done transparently. The issue I have with SurveySay is false advertising.

Firstly, the ads sound like there are paying jobs available. And secondly, the website makes out like it’s a platform that has its very own surveys when it doesn’t actually offer anything.

What Happens If You Join SurveySay?

SurveySay doesn’t charge you anything to join their website, nor would they want to.

The only information you have to give them when joining is your email address. This is highly unusual with just about any type of site where there’s a membership.

The reason being is all they want to do is be able to email you the information of all the other survey platforms they want you to go and join.

Following the opt in process you are directed to a page where there are 5 survey platforms they want you to sign up with. A couple of these are okay, but the others basically suck. All 5 links to these external platforms are affiliate links.

Copy the way I make $1000s a month every month online!

Is There Any Way To Make Money With SurveySay?

Not directly on SurveySay you won’t be.

Sure, if you join some of the other survey platforms you can, but a few of the ones this website refers people to are a little on the dodgy side.

On average, all survey platforms combined that I’ve had experience with, if you wanted to illustrate earnings with an hourly rate, pay somewhere in the vicinity of about $3 per hour. That would be a fairly accurate figure.

So, not much money to be had, even if you come from a country where the cost of living is cheaper.

Things I Don’t Like About Surveys

One of the things I’m not keen on with surveys is the qualifying questions. I mean, I understand why they exist, but every single time you are screened out of a survey, you’ve just wasted time. Some businesses really take full advantage of these questions too, asking dozens of them on occasion before you actually get to the paying part of the survey.

Another very common issue is that even the best paid survey platforms still pay very poorly for the time you spend answering survey questions.

On occasion you can be partway through a survey, only to have it freak out because of a glitch. You find you can’t finish the survey and don’t make any money for the time you’ve already put into it.

It can often take a while to reach a cash out level, and when you do, there can still be a delay of weeks or a month before you actually receive your payment.

Sometimes surveys are few and far between as well, and you find you hardly have any to complete.

This is all a bit of a moot point when it comes to SurveySay anyway, as it’s not even a paid survey platform. Just a feeder site and nothing more.

Target Market

Paid surveys offer a simple way for the average person to make some easy money from the comfort of home in their spare time. The downside is that none really pay enough to make this a worthwhile pursuit.

SurveySay is targeting people looking to do paid surveys, but just isn’t offering any surveys of their own. The site just feeds people to other sites while growing their email list at the same time.

What I Like

  • It’s free to join
  • There is a small amount of money to be earned on some of the survey sites you get sent to

What I Don’t Like and Red Flags

  • A couple of the survey platforms this website recommends are a little dodgy in my experience
  • There are no paid survey taking jobs like is advertised
  • In fact, there are no actual surveys whatsoever on SurveySay
  • The platform only exists so the owner can earn referral commissions and build their email list
  • The way this site is set up is rather deceptive and really should be more transparent
  • After surrendering your email address, you are likely to get spammed with numerous other offers
  • Even legit surveys are pretty much a waste of your time where rewards are concerned
  • The site is nothing but an empty shell really

How Much Does SurveySay Cost To Join?

Thankfully it doesn’t cost anything to join SurveySay. I did come across another one recently that actually charges people money to join a platform that just refers people to other platforms. In my opinion that totally sucks.

Is SurveySay a Scam Or Legit?

I wouldn’t call this an outright scam, although the promise of paid survey jobs kind of is, because there aren’t any to speak of.

Like I said, this site only exists to feed people over to other REAL survey sites so the owner gets commissions. There’s not really anything else to this. It's also not very well received if you look at SurveySay reviews on Sitejabber.

If you want to try your hand at paid surveys, just join platforms directly. They’re all free. There’s no need to go through the rig moral of first joining SurveySay and then joining the others. Just do a Google search. Plenty will come up.

If you want to make decent money though, I highly recommend that you don’t waste valuable time on doing surveys, no matter what site you join.

Make REAL Money Online Just Like I Do

Lifestyle Freedom is Time and MoneyWhile you might make some spare change with surveys, it really is a very poor exchange of your time for such small rewards. There are far better ways to make some decent cash.

My favourite is affiliate marketing. Every day I make money with my simple home online business. So do millions upon millions of other people all around the world. If you want to get started and earning, it’s really not very hard if you’ve got some awesome training to follow.

Do you want to make some extra money on the side to supplement your income? Would you one day love to fire your boss and work for yourself from home? How about the possibility of building real wealth?

All of these scenarios are possible with affiliate marketing. Why? Because there’s no ceiling on how much you could earn with this.

What happens with an online gig like this is you’ll end up creating multiple sources of residual and passive income. This leads to more financial security as well as the lifestyle freedom of having both time as well as money. This is something that’s hard to achieve with a job, where you’re trading your time for money.

Many people dream of having more freedom in their lives, but you’ve gotta actively go after it, and affiliate marketing can give you this type of life.

You also don’t need any capital to bankroll your online business, and you can run it on a shoestring budget if you need to.

I’ve written a complimentary make money online guide to help people get started, so if you have a few minutes spare, hit the banner below and have a read of it.
