~ Cowboy Wealth Reviews ~

Millions of people are turning to the internet to find new ways to make money, part-time or fulltime. It’s only natural in the modern tech world. There is money to be made online, for sure, but you have to avoid all the dodgy stuff in the process.

It’s the reason I write so many reviews on my site: To help people find the good stuff and avoid the bad.

I’m happy you’re here reading my review. You’ve obviously been asking the question “is Cowboy Wealth legit?”, so I’m going to try and answer that question for you.

Let’s dive in.

What Is Cowboy Wealth All About?

A cloud of mystery seems to shroud this make money online opportunity. The Cowboy Wealth website doesn’t really give much information away. It just hints at things like:

They also make the claim that the company has paid out over $5 billion in earnings and commissions. Yes, you read that right. I said “billion”!

The website alludes to getting involved in another program that Cowboy Wealth promotes, and we’ll get into that shortly.

Despite Cowboy Wealth and its website being around for a few years now (the domain name was registered 7 years ago), it’s still hard to dig up much information on the “opportunity”. There’s really not a lot out there, other than people asking questions about what it actually is.

The mystery lingers.

Cowboy Wealth Scam Or Legit

How Does Cowboy Wealth Work?

Chris and Cathy SorensenApparently for the past 30 years or so, Chris and Cathy Sorensen have been helping people earn money and live the dream lifestyle by following their make money system. The couple also claim this has nothing to do with MLM (multilevel marketing).

Do what I do if you want to live the dream life of time and money freedom!

If you were to just peruse their website to learn more about what’s going on, you really wouldn’t find out anything.

There’s no information on what their opportunity is or how it really works. Everything is very vague and basically geared towards having visitors get in touch for more information.

You do have to be referred to the opportunity they offer to get a look in, and then you have to hand over your phone number and email address to gather any real details about the program.

Even if you call the phone number they provide, no one answers immediately. Instead, you are greeted with a recorded message telling you to leave your contact details and someone will call you back and pitch you.

One thing you will notice when looking over their website is they regularly insist they are not a MLM opportunity, but in the next section of this review I’ll expose that as an outright lie.

What Cowboy Wealth Is REALLY All About!

Cowboy Wealth isn’t really anything. It’s just a website that has been put together by distributors of a MLM company called Melaleuca.

That’s right, a MLM company. So all this talk about not being MLM is bogus.

Through much digging and being in contact with someone who did join Cowboy Wealth, I was able to discover what it’s really all about.

Now, if someone is involved in MLM, there’s nothing wrong with putting a website together to try and recruit new members, so long as they’re transparent and honest about it.

Cowboy Wealth is like some mysterious money making opportunity where they lie about not being involved in a MLM scheme, when that’s exactly what they’re into, and what they’re trying to recruit other people into.

A Little About the Melaleuca MLM Scheme

Melaleuca is a health and wellness company created by Frank L. VanderSloot in 1985, so it’s been around for quite a while. It’s as legit as any other MLM opportunity out there and is not a scam.

The problem with Melaleuca is the company is dabbling in the most over-saturated niche there is by selling over-priced products in the health and wellness sector.

MLM is also an extremely tough way to make money, with all of the advantages going to the company while the distributors do all the work for free.

And it is for free, because you don’t make any money unless you sell something. Plus, all “business” expenses come out of your own pocket.

MLM is a fantastic deal for the companies behind the schemes, but a terrible deal for those who join as distributors.

That’s why so many companies go with MLM rather than retail, because they get a free workforce who also buys their products, and they make an absolute killing by taking full advantage of that workforce that they’ve lured in with BS hype of riches and a wonderful lifestyle.

If you want to join Melaleuca and buy their products, you can purchase a bottle of their shampoo for $70.

Prime example of how over-priced these MLM company’s products are.

So the bottom line is, if you join Cowboy Wealth, what you’re really joining is the Melaleuca MLM scheme, entering Chris and Cathy Sorensen’s downline.

Here’s an interesting snippet of claims they make on the Cowboy Wealth website, all of which will be totally untrue if you become a Melaleuca distributor:

  • You DON'T distribute products
  • You DON'T sell products to your neighbors and friends
  • You DON'T carry inventory
  • You DON'T take orders or make deliveries
  • You DON'T invoice or collect debts
  • You DON'T manipulate or pressure customers to make purchases

Target Audience

The audience they’re targeting is really anyone looking for a money making opportunity, and they make it sound like when you join Cowboy Wealth, you can be making all this cash online from home.

In reality, you’ll be out pounding the pavement trying to sell over-priced health and wellness products and trying to recruit people.

What’s Good About Cowboy Wealth

  • Melaleuca is a genuine company that’s been operating for decades

The Cons

  • Any Cowboy Wealth complaints I found were all about the site being so vague and mysterious with a real lack of solid information
  • Melaleuca (and all MLM schemes) are a tough way to make money and all the products are way too expensive
  • The Cowboy Wealth site tells a lot of lies once you really know what they’re trying to sell
  • The testimonials on the site look fake (I’m not certain though)
  • There’s not much information about Cowboy Wealth anywhere online

How Much Is Cowboy Wealth?

Cowboy Wealth mentions nothing about pricing, but Melaleuca is actually free to join as a distributor. The catch is that you commit to buying X amount of expensive product off them every month to remain eligible to earn commissions and bonuses.

At the prices they charge, you’ll likely end up with a garage full of unsold products that you’ve outlaid big dollars for.

Is Cowboy Wealth a Scam Or Legit?

The Cowboy Wealth website is dodgy in the fact that a lot of the information they do provide is false and untrue. They are also very vague, which is obviously deliberate, as many people would shy away from it if they were upfront about the MLM side of things.

Melaleuca is not a scam, but Cowboy Wealth itself is extremely deceptive.

Neither opportunity is really worth joining in my opinion. Cowboy Wealth isn’t really an opportunity of itself anyway.
