~ IDLife Reviews ~

A Quick Intro…

I can’t believe how many MLM companies there are going around these days, and the majority of them seem to be selling products in the health, wellness and fitness niche, which is so super saturated it’s no longer funny.

I’ve been a member of a few MLM schemes in the past, and more recently I’ve researched and written reviews on dozens of them. When I heard about one called IDLife, I thought it sounded like a good one to look into and write a review on.

I believe product reviews – just like the one you’re reading now – is one of the quickest and most effective ways to find stuff that works, and also avoid scams and platforms that are a waste of time and money. I created this site to help people, and that’s why I write so many reviews on here.

Anyone can make money online these days, whether part-time on the side, or even create a profitable fulltime business. I earn a living entirely on the internet and so can you.

Because so many people use the internet to source new options, it’s given birth to many make money scams. These schemers create programs that sound awesome, but deliver very little value, so we always have to be on guard.

Anyway, let’s now see if the IDLife network marketing platform is legit and offers any real value from a money making perspective.

What Is IDLife About?

IDLife is a health and wellness MLM company started by a guy named Logan Stout in 2014. It’s quite new as far as network marketing companies go.

IDLife is the shortened version of the company’s full name, which is “Individually Designed Life”.

Along with targeting general health and wellbeing, much of IDLife’s product line is aimed at weight loss. That’s the main focus.

They believe in using all natural ingredients in their products and supplements, and also understand that everybody is different, and therefore there is no “one size fits all” solution to each individual’s nutrition requirements.

MLM, from a business point of view, is a notoriously hard way to make money. I much prefer the simplicity and profitability of affiliate marketing. Click here to learn how you can get started with some free training.

The IDLife Products

As I mentioned just before, this company’s approach to health and wellness is a little different, as they tailor programs to suit the needs of the individual. The idea is to achieve faster and more sustainable results using a 3 step process.

They have a system called the IDAssessment. When a new member/customer joins IDLife, they’ll be put through this assessment process. This helps to nail down the very best solution to one’s weight loss and nutritional needs.

There is more detail about this process on their website. Also, because my review is mainly about the business opportunity, I won’t dig deep into the products. You can view the full range on the IDLife site as well.

Let’s quickly list some IDLife product examples at least:

  • Workout shakes and supplements
  • Protein bars
  • Weight loss shakes
  • Energy supplements and shakes
  • Weight management products
  • Supplements, bars and shakes for kids
  • Skincare
  • And more…

Usually the prices of MLM products are sky high due to the nature of their compensation plans, but upon further digging (they don’t list prices on their site), I was able to discover that the costs for products in the IDLife range are not really any more expensive than anything out there being sold at a retail level.

The IDLife Compensation Plan

Although IDLife claim there are 15 different ways people can earn with their compensation plan, generally there are always 2 major ways to make money as a distributor, and they are:

  1. Selling the products direct
  2. Recruiting and building a sales team

You can make up to 30% profit margin by selling the products, which is actually pretty good, but that’s not where the real money is.

The key to success with any network marketing scheme lies in recruitment. It’s the only way to advance, climb the ranks and get into a position where you can earn real dollars. If you don’t advance up the company ranks you’ll just remain at the very bottom with the masses, and there’s no real money to be made there.

IDLife Compensation Plan

With the IDLife compensation plan you can build your downlines to 10 levels deep. It’s as you build your team and accrue team sales that you have a chance of making bonuses and climbing the ranking ladder.

Let’s list the ranks you can achieve:

  1. Director
  2. Area Director
  3. Regional Director
  4. Managing Director
  5. Senior Director
  6. Executive Director
  7. National Director
  8. Vice Presidential Director
  9. Presidential Director
  10. National Presidential Director

There are also a number of bonuses you can set your sites on as well, and it’s through building an active team that will help you reach them. The bonuses are:

  • Grand Slam Bonus
  • Matching Bonuses
  • Extended Matching Bonuses
  • Global Pool Bonus

To help you understand how the IDLife compensation plan works in more detail, I’ve included their explainer video below.

Is There An Income Disclosure Statement?

There doesn’t seem to be any copy of a recent income disclosure statement on the IDLife website, despite the fact that they’re supposed to display one by law.

I like to include details of these statements so everyone can see just how much money people are making, on average, at each ranking level.

If it’s typical of most other MLM companies, you’ll find that around 95% of people make close to zero annual profit, and that less than 1% make what would be considered a liveable yearly income from their MLM efforts.

Some Key Reasons Why I’m Not a Fan of MLM

I’ve never made it a secret that I’m not a fan of the way MLM companies operate, and for a number of key reasons.

The company has everything slanted in their favour, while taking most of the benefits away from their distributors. That’s why there are so many network marketing companies around these days. From the company point of view, it just makes good business sense. It’s a smart move for them.

Now while that’s great for those running IDLife, it’s not a pretty picture for its distributors.

MLM is one of the hardest ways there is to make a sustainable and consistent income. That’s just a cold, hard fact. The only reason it’s popular with the masses is because these companies always sell the hype surrounding their product and business, rather than the reality.

They make it all sound easy and highly profitable, when actually the complete opposite is true.

Let’s break it all down so you can see why I say MLM is such a poor deal from a distributor POV.

While there will be some employees on the IDLife payroll, the majority of workers – the distributors – all work for free. The masses are out there selling and promoting and recruiting, all hoping to earn a few bonuses and commissions.

It’s the distributors who are buying most of the products, doing all the sales work for the company, advertising and promoting the company and its products, and all at their own expense and for no pay, not even a retainer.

Distributors do all the work just on the promise of making commissions down the track.

On top of that, there is always some sort of joining fee you have to pay when you join a MLM business opportunity. So in other words, you have to pay the company for the right to work for them for free.

What the hell kind of deal is that?

I mentioned earlier in the review that the only real way to get ahead in the network marketing game is with mass recruiting, and it’s true. It’s deliberately designed this way.

Therefore, the unpaid distributors actively grow and expand the company, also for free, so IDLife can generate even more revenue from charging for memberships, starter kits and products to their new members.

It really is a sweet deal all round for the company.

Is IDLife a Scam

The whole reason why MLM is so popular among the masses is all the hype they sell it on. It’s sold like a get rich quick scheme. And they always over-focus on the awesome life you’re going to be leading once you sign up.

Now there’s nothing wrong with wanting a life of freedom, money, nice cars, travel and so on, but less than one percent of all people involved in all MLM ventures across the globe ever achieve this kind of lifestyle through MLM.

That’s just the facts.

Another falsehood these companies always spin – and IDLife is no different – is they’ll claim you get to start, run and own your very own business when you join.

That’s an absolute crock. You don’t own anything except the products you buy. You never build a brand or an asset. You’re just a rep for the company who is madly running around building their brand, making them oodles of cash and growing their business for them.

You never own a business with MLM. If you did, then you would have a business that you could later sell. You can’t sell a MLM distributorship, because you don’t own it, the company does.

All these companies make this claim, but it’s nothing more than a blatant lie!

If you ever want to leave IDLife, you just walk away empty handed, with nothing to show for all your dedication, hard work and out of pocket expenses.

I couldn’t find any evidence of this regarding the IDLife deal, but most MLM companies force their workers to also become their main customers by insisting that they purchase X amount of product every single month to remain eligible to earn commissions and bonuses.

Anyway, these are some of the reasons why, in general, I don’t like MLM and think it’s a really poor deal from a distributor POV.

IDLife is slightly better than some other network marketing companies, but all the advantages are still in the company’s favour and not the distributors.

Is IDLife A Pyramid Scheme?

Just about every single multi level marketing company will get accused of being an illegal pyramid scheme at some stage, and all because they use the pyramid style of compensation.

I don’t like MLM, but I’ll be fair. Hardly any network marketing companies are operating illegally, and to fully understand why, we must first know the definition of what constitutes an illegal pyramid scheme.

A “naked” pyramid scheme is the illegal version. What this means is running a scheme that relies entirely on recruitment to survive and generate revenue. Members buy in, recruit new members, and then make money when the new member pays membership fees.

Naked schemes are called “naked” because they don’t sell any tangible products of any real value. Everything is based solely on recruitment and new member money.

IDLife has stacks of products for sale, and products that can be purchased by people not involved in the business side of the scheme. Therefore, it cannot be classified as an illegal pyramid operation.

Target Market

MLM appeals to he masses because of both hype, and the fact that many people are looking to get involved in something, but don’t want to have to set up a business from scratch.

With MLM they can simply join, then immediately start selling products and recruiting new members.

Of course, everyone thinks they are starting their own easy and lucrative business, but MLM is far from being a quick and easy way to make money, and for most people it just ends up costing them money rather than being even remotely lucrative.

You also never do own your own business. You’re essentially just an unpaid sales rep who has to cover their own “business” expenses.

What I Do Like

  • 30 day money back guarantee on products
  • The compensation plan is a little fairer than some other MLM companies
  • IDLife has quite a good product range and the prices of the products are fairly reasonable
  • Individually tailored nutrition plans

What I Don’t Like and Red Flags

  • Only USA residents can buy the products or participate in the business opportunity
  • There is no income disclosure statement available
  • There is no copy of the compensation plan PDF available to non affiliates of IDLife
  • MLM is a really tough way to make an income
  • Less than 1% of all people involved in MLM can claim to make a living from their MLM earnings
  • At least 95% of people fail to make any money with MLM
  • The health and wellness niche is super saturated and highly competitive
  • All of the advantages go to the company and not the distributors

How Much Does It Cost To Join IDLife?

In order to get started on the business side of IDLife, you must first purchase an Enrollment Kit which will cost you $399. This will give you everything you need to get started, as well as deem you eligible to earn commissions and bonuses, as well as achieve ranks.

I couldn’t find any evidence that IDLife makes its distributors purchase product every month to remain active and eligible, but that doesn’t mean they don’t enforce this unsavoury practice.

Is IDLife a Scam or Legit?

This MLM company is definitely not a scam. It’s just typical MLM, but maybe slightly better than some other ones out there.

The reasons I think MLM is a poor deal apply to IDLife, but something else that really goes against them is the niche they’re operating in.

Health and wellness products have been done to death in every way, but particularly by network marketing companies. It’s by far and away to most popular niche.

There’s really nothing extra special about IDLife’s range of products to differentiate them from their vast range of competitors or elevate them above the competition.

If you got involved in this one, expect an extreme uphill battle to get anywhere in such a mega saturated market.

I really can’t recommend IDLife or any other MLM company as a viable way to make a decent income, because the truth is that it’s not.

Here’s Something WAY Easier Than MLM!

Lifestyle FreedomAll network marketing deals are going to prove to be hard work, as well as costing you money along the way. In the past I got involved in a few MLM schemes, plus I’ve researched 100s of them by now.

I do affiliate marketing online, and it’s got it all over multi level marketing in every department.

There are no joining fees to become an affiliate for companies, you don’t need to recruit people to have a chance of making good money, and there is no actual buying and selling of products. In fact, to get started you don’t really need to spend money on anything.

All you need is a computer and the internet.

If you build an affiliate marketing website like I have, that then becomes your brand, as well as being a valuable asset that you could later sell if you wanted to.

Following along to a proven training blueprint is the quickest pathway to finding success as an affiliate marketer.

Many marketers choose to do this as a gig on the side for extra money. People like myself prefer it to be the main money earner, as there are so many lifestyle benefits that go along with that.

Let’s very quickly have a look at a few:

  • You won’t have any limitations on how much money you can potentially make
  • Much of your income will be passive income, which is the best kind to have
  • The internet is global, so you can make money day and night, even while sleeping
  • Create your own schedule for a flexible lifestyle
  • You are the boss and make your own rules
  • Being able to work from anywhere means you can live the laptop lifestyle
  • You get to spend more time with loved ones
  • You’ll have both time AND money together, which leads to real lifestyle freedom
  • And stacks more…
