~ Bigspot.com Reviews ~
One of the things I really like about the internet is it never sleeps. From a perspective of making money online, this means we have access to a global market 24/7/365, which is pretty awesome.
The world has never been like this before, and never has there been so many opportunities to make money from the comfort of your own home.
While the internet is great, it has its downsides as well. One of the biggest problems – when it comes to making money online – is the prevalence of online scammers and con artists. These people are there just waiting to take your money, selling you BS hype just to get you to join their schemes.
Because of this I make it a point to write reviews on make money products, along with any training programs that proclaim to show people how to earn online. This way we all have a clearer picture about what’s good, what’s okay and what we should steer clear of all together.
I saw a lot of chatter about Bigspot and their paid survey platform. It got me curious enough to dig deeper and write a review on what I uncovered.
As I said before, while there are many legit ways to make money online, there are a lot of scams out there as well, so we all have to be aware and vigilant. Reviews help us do that.
The great thing about you being here and reading this review is it shows you do your research before you join anything, and that’s wise. You are far less likely to ever be scammed that way.
Let’s now see if Bigspot is really worth your time or a complete waste of time.

What Is Bigspot?
Over the years I’ve been a member of a number of paid survey sites and have filled out hundreds of surveys during that time. It’s not something I focus on these days, but I did in the past. I’ve never been a member of Bigspot though.
Surveys can be an easy (although boring) way of earning a little bit of cash online, and often a good way to get your first taste of online earnings. At the end of the day though, they pay hardly anything and not a good way to spend your time if you want to make some decent cash.
Let’s see what Bigspot has to offer and whether they add anything of more value to the mix.
Upon looking at their website I can confirm that it’s run by the same person or people as another survey site I reviewed recently called SurveySay. Everything is identical, including logos, videos and all the offers.
Same owner, same site, just a different name.
Apparently Bigspot has been going since 2008 (although that’s debatable). The whole idea of these paid survey platforms is to help gather market research for companies, manufacturers and the like. The way this research is gathered is by having relevant people fill out surveys and earn small rewards for their time.
The idea is that Bigspot acts as the go between from survey taker to corporation.
At any rate, that’s how proper and genuine paid survey platforms operate. Unfortunately there are other platforms out there that masquerade as regular paid survey portals, but actually are not. As you’ll soon discover with Bigspot.
Bigspot have been placing ads online, and even advertising on TV, proclaiming they have paid jobs for survey takers. This is simply not true. In fact, there aren’t actually any surveys to fill out directly on the Bigspot platform at all.
Look, even if you want to spend time doing surveys for real survey platforms, it’s pretty much a waste of valuable time because the pay is so low. A better idea is to start a simple online gig like affiliate marketing where you can make some REAL dollars.
The best and quickest way to get started and earning is to follow the training I did over at Wealthy Affiliate. It’s FREE to join!
How Bigspot Really Works
Bigspot only exists as a way to refer members to other survey sites that are real. Normally when you first join a survey platform, after you’ve completed your profile you’ll be presented with surveys to complete and earn some cash. That’s not the case with Bigspot. The owner of this site simply entices you to join some other survey sites
Why? To earn referral fees. Most paid survey platforms offer small commissions for referring new members, and that’s what Bigspot is aiming to do.
The problem I have with Bigspot is not the fact that the owner wants to make some commissions, but rather that Bigspot is making out like it’s a genuine survey platform with its own surveys, and also the advertising of paid survey jobs, which is false.
Here are 2 more I reviewed recently that also do the same thing:
Bigspot is all about members making money for the site owner, rather than an opportunity to earn directly on Bigspot itself.
As I said, most survey sites and rewards platforms will have referral programs to grow their membership base. Members can make some extra cash by referring new members, along with what they make doing surveys.
I’m fine with this, so long as the person doing the promotions is honest and transparent about it and not making out like there is something else on offer.
To me that’s nothing but false advertising.
What Happens If You Join Bigspot?
If you were to decide to join Bigspot, you don’t have to pay any membership fee. You wouldn’t want to have to either. Legit sites don’t charge, and this one doesn’t even offer any surveys.
The funny thing with Bigspot is when you go to sign up, all you give them is your email address. No other information required. The reason is they want to promote things to you by email, and just have you join the other survey platforms so they can earn commissions. They don’t need any more information than that.
Once you’ve joined you’ll be presented with 3 other survey sites they want you to sign up for. I know from experience that all 3 are legit survey platforms where you can earn small amounts of money (very small). Each link to these survey sites is an affiliate link so the Bigspot owner can earn referral commissions.
Can You Make Any Money With Bigspot?
You won’t be making any money directly on the Bigspot platform, that’s for sure.
If you go ahead and join some of the survey platforms that are recommended, yes you can make some money, but it won’t be much.
In my experience, although all survey sites vary, the average you might be able to make per hour filling out online surveys will be something like $3. So not much money for your precious time. That’s just an average, but it would be fairly accurate.
Some Things I Don’t Like About Surveys
Like I mentioned earlier, I’ve done quite a few paid surveys over the years, and there are things to be aware of if you were going to focus on this as a make money method.
For starters, just about every survey you do will first have a series of qualifying questions to answer, to make sure you fit the demographic the company is looking to gather information from. If you don’t, you will be screened out and will have wasted time answering those questions.
One of the most common complaints about paid surveys is the lack of pay. They seriously are a poor exchange of time for money.
Another thing that can happen on occasion is the survey you’re doing glitches out part way through and you don’t get to finish it. Now you’ve just wasted even more time because you won’t get paid anything for the time you spent on it.
Even when you finally reach a cash out level with a particular platform, once you request a payout, sometimes it takes more than a month before you see your money or gift cards.
Surveys can often be few and far between too on platforms that have a lot of members, making it hard to build up rewards points so you can cash out.
This is all relevant to real survey sites, but a bit of a moot point when it comes to the Bigspot platform.
The good point about paid surveys as they are an easy introduction to making a little bit of money online from the comfort of your own home. The obvious negative is the peanuts these platforms pay people.
Bigspot targets these people looking to earn from paid surveys, except they are using very deceptive tactics just to try and earn some referral fees from real survey platforms.
What I Like
- You don’t have to pay to join
- You can earn tiny amounts of cash on the sites Bigspot refer you to
What I Don’t Like and Red Flags
- They use false advertising claiming they offer paid survey “jobs”
- Bigspot don’t actually have any of their own surveys to offer anyone
- This website exists solely to earn the site owner money by referring people to genuine survey sites
- The owner should be more honest about what the website really does
- Chances are high that you’ll get spammed with all manner of offers once you surrender your email address to Bigspot
- Legit surveys are a waste of time in my experience
- The Bigspot website really has nothing to offer
How Much Does Bigspot Cost To Join?
You don’t have to pay anything to join Bigspot (nor would you want to). You also don’t have to pay anything to join the legit platforms Bigspot refers you to.
I did review one so-called survey site recently that just refers people to other sites, and this particular platform – Gold Opinions – actually has the audacity to charge a joining fee!
Is Bigspot a Scam Or Legit?
Although I wouldn’t rate Bigspot a total scam, it is close because of the false way the platform is advertised. There are no survey jobs because there are no actual surveys.
The only reason for Bigspot’s existence is to funnel members over to regular survey platforms so the owner makes small commissions. That’s all there is to the Bigspot platform.
If you really want to try your hand at paid surveys, then skip Bigspot, go to Google and search for legit paid survey platforms. There are plenty. Just join them individually.
If the goal is to make some decent money online, then forget surveys all together and read below.
Make REAL Money Online Just Like I Do
Paid surveys might be an okay way to get started and believe there’s money to be made on the internet, but they are a serious waste of valuable time if you want to make money that’s useful.
I do affiliate marketing for a living, and like millions of other people all around the world, I make money daily from this very simple online business. Anyone can do this and make money if you follow some good training.
How does some extra cash on the side in your spare time sound? What about being able to fire your current boss and work fulltime for yourself from home? Or being able to go beyond that and start creating real wealth?
With affiliate marketing you can make any of these scenarios a reality. It’s entirely up to you. There’s really no limits to how much money you can realistically earn with this, because you’re not trading your time for money.
Over time you’ll start to create multiple streams of both passive and residual income that keep building. This leads to more financial freedom, as well as living a lifestyle that only time AND money can provide. You can’t achieve that with most jobs.
While many people may dream of having a freedom-based lifestyle, you have to actually go after something that can give you that dream.
No bankroll is needed to get started in affiliate marketing either, and you can run your online gig really cheaply if you want to.
If you click on the banner below you’ll be taken through to my complimentary make money online guide. It’s worth a look and only takes a few minutes to read.
I created this guide to help people get started. I explain how affiliate marketing works, how simple it is, and cover a few of the many benefits to having a simple home online business.
Along with this I introduce some awesome training I recommend that kicks off totally FREE! It’s the same training I did and no credit cards are required to join.
